A low-carb diet is easier to stick to and keeps you more relaxed

A study came out this week showing that both low-fat and low-carb diets are effective in keeping weight off.

I can attest to that because I have tried both.

However, here's the catch. While people found it easy to stick to the high protein diet, the low-protein dieters struggled to stick to theirs. Also, while all the study participants saw their blood pressure go down as they lost weight, average blood pressure went up in the high-carbohydrate group during the weight maintenance phase. In contrast, the high-protein dieters were able to sustain their blood pressure reduction.

I can attest to that also. It was easier for me to stick to a low-carb diet and I felt much better, short term and long term on it.

Yesterday, I ate no meat. I did not sleep well and I remained hungry. I also woke up hungry and uneasy.
